About the Book:

One day, a little girl heard a sound beating within her left side. Ba-dum ba-dum ba-dum ba-dum. She set off on a journey into the land of her heart. There she discovered herself. At the end of her adventure her mother wrote this story and the little girl (6) illustrated it. This story is for all who want to find themselves within their hearts.

About the Author:

She was born in Ankara in 1977 but still feels like she’s 27.

Cagri worked as a copywriter for 15 years, where she found ideas and wrote short stories almost every day.

She has been living in London since 2014.

Cagri is the mother of Zehra, and creates different stories for her daughter almost every night. As her daughter enjoyed her stories so much, she wondered if other children might enjoy them too, and so Cagri began to write for the most wonderful creatures in the world.

About the Illustrator:

She was born in London, in 2016.

When she was 5 years old her mother read her a story about a little girl with a big heart.

Someone had to illustrate this book.

Zehra said, “Don’t worry, mum, I can do the pictures in this book and I can do it very well!”

That day, Zehra became an illustrator at the age of 6.
