Merrymaker- 15 was its name. It was invented as a bomb to be exploded experimentally in the Congo Basin. At first, people watched it explode and display some nice fireworks in the sky. Who would know it was going to kill everyone over 15 years old? Who would know the children in the whole wide world would wake up one day, and their parents wouldn’t answer their calls? It is time for children to hold power in their tiny hands. It is time for them to take over the world covered with evil by the previous generations. It is because, in this story, children are the only people who are left alive. This is the story of a guilty world handed over to innocent children, from Dystopia to Utopia.

About the Author

Halil İbrahim Balkaş was born on 23 November 1946 in Kaş. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics. He retired from TRT after working as a commentator and reporter in the same corporation for thirty years. He lives in Antalya.

He likes solitude, trekking and music. He is not fond of eating; but tea and coffee seem like the favor of life for him.

He likes reading and writing. Before starting to write, he usually keeps on  listening to the songs he has been listening to recently.

He likes poems. He memorizes the ones he likes. He likes to read them on his own; but sometimes to his friends.

In the short article introducing himself in his web-page, he writes: “Life passes. When I close my eyes to this world one day, my memories and writings will remain as intrinsic for a period of history. I know someone will read them and I will live in them.”

He has a daughter and two grandchildren. They live abroad; in France.
